Kindergarten/nursery contact network

Use commin as your kindergarten or nursery contact network. At kindergartens and nurseries, children are still small and communication is needed frequently. Using the commin contact network lightens the burden of staying in touch.
Reasons

Why it's ideal as a nursery or kindergarten contact network

Contacting the nursery or kindergarten

The commin contact network is ideal for getting in touch with a nursery or kindergarten. There are many occasions to contact them, such as changing the pickup time or reporting that a child is absent with a fever. With phone calls, the nursery or kindergarten has to handle every call, which becomes a burden. With commin email, getting in touch is simple, and since the sender can confirm that the recipient has read the message, missed communications are prevented.

How the children are doing at nursery or kindergarten

Nurseries and kindergartens often print out updates on how the children spent their day and pass them to parents. By sharing them through commin's album, they can be shared as memories, neatly organized for everyone involved.

Personal information

With commin, there's no need to collect personal information from the people who join your community. As a result, you can build a nursery or kindergarten contact network without gathering personal details such as email addresses or phone numbers.

Peace of mind from not being connected

Even for kindergarten or nursery communications, many people are reluctant to be connected to other children's parents they've never met. With commin, you can create a community where only the teacher and each parent are connected individually. That way, there's no need for parents to be connected to one another unnecessarily.
How to

Tips for running a kindergarten or nursery network

How to scope each contact network (community)

Create one community per contact network. For kindergarten or nursery use, we recommend creating a community for each class. If a single community has too many members, managing the people in the network becomes a burden.

Preparing a device for the contact network

At kindergartens and nurseries, teachers often change frequently, so connecting teachers and parents directly through the contact network increases the teachers' workload. For that reason, we recommend setting up a dedicated communication device and a dedicated commin account at the facility level, and having parents send their messages to that device. This lets you use the commin contact network as a substitute for the facility's phone.

Community settings

We recommend configuring your community to match the needs of your kindergarten or nursery when you create it. * Community public setting * Private * Direct interaction among members * OFF With these settings, you can build a contact network (community) that isn't visible to outsiders on the internet and where only the teacher and each parent can communicate.

How to send invitations

For kindergarten or nursery use, we recommend printing out the invitation link and distributing it to parents. When you display the invitation link from the web version of the commin contact network on a PC, a link to a print-friendly page appears. From there, you can open the print page and easily print copies to hand out.

Personal information

By having people join the community using information the network's administrator (such as the kindergarten or nursery) already knows, like the child's name, you can avoid collecting personal details such as email addresses or phone numbers. When inviting people with a printed invitation code, be sure to add a note explaining how they should enter their name when applying to join.

Member permissions

You can change a member's permissions from the member list screen. If there is an account besides the one that created the community that needs to communicate with all the parents, change that commin account's role to Admin Member.
